Me, as a zombie. (Non-class assignment)

I started with a webcam picture of myself. I opened it and photoshop, and on a new layer, painted my eyes yellow. then i used the burn tool to make the greyish tint in the skin. Next, i selected parts of a picture of spider veins and adjusted the hue/color to dark red. Then i used the pencil/brush to make thin scar/scrape lines. Finally, I used teeth from a zombie picture and drew blood around the mouth; I used the bevel and emboss function to make it look more like a fluid.

Midterm assignment

I started with a blank photoshop canvas. i started with making half of the background a gradient of blue and a lighter blue (done in grayscale). then i made a line across the page, and added the bushes in the background. I added noise to them, and then added clouds in the sky. Next, i made an oval in the foreground with the marqueee tool, filled it, then erased a portion of it. After, I made the trunk and banches using the polygonal lasso tool, and then made three ovals for bunches of leaves at the top, After adding noise to that, i made an oval on the right-foreground and a thick line coming up, which meets at the swirled circle. Finally, I added "Happiness is" and "Graphic Arts" and used various arc techniques on them.

School Open House flyer

I started with a blank photoshop canvas, and then made a circle with the marquee tool. The school name, date, and "parents welcome" are typed in the same font in different colors, while "open house" is a different font, with bevel and emboss.

School of fish

I started with a blank photoshop canvas. I found a picture online of a blotched-looking background, and put it as the canvas's background. I then changed the hue/color to a light blue, and used a fish brush template to make an overlapping school of fish.

Holiday Posters (2 major, 2 minor)

Each poster started with a 10 by 17 blank photoshop canvas. after finding five pictures for the respective holidays, I edited each one, painting on new layers, and then hiding the actual picture's layer. This leaves a drawn vrsion of each ones. I then arranged them on a colored background, (the halloween using black and orange gradient) and typed the all-caps holiday names at the bottom.

Head project

I started with a 17 by 11 blank photoshop canvas. I took a webcam picture of myself and selected the top portion of my head, and rotated it. Then I found SIXTY different pictures of things I like, and edited them by removing any unnecessary background. Finally I just arranged them with smaller ones closest to my head, and bigger pictures at the top, to make a flowing effect.

Gumballs

I started with a 10 by 8 blank photoshop canvas. I made a circle with the marquee tool, and filled it red. Keeping it selected, i copy and pasted it repeatedly. I then took each gumball and on the menu went to image, then adjustments, then hue/color. I then changed them to different colors of gumballs.
